You have up to one (1) full business day after the release of grades to submit regrade requests. For example, if grades are released anytime on a Friday, you have until Monday 11:59pm to submit regrade requests. We are implementing this policy to maintain a smooth, synchronous balance between Gradescope and Canvas.
You can submit a late homework by end of the next day for 50% credit. For example, if a homeworks is due on Thursday, then you can submit by Friday 11:59pm for 50% credit.

If you cannot meet an exam or homework deadline due to extenuating circumstances such as traveling for a tournament, then documentation is required to be submitted to the Professor at least 4 days days in advance (this applies to medical issues as well). This buffer is important to make sure the Professor has enough time to make alternative arrangements.
For medical issues, only serious illnesses and cases will warrant accommodations and will require a note from the doctor. Minor medical issues (cold/cough etc.) will not warrant accommodations.
If you do request rescheduling an exam, the make-up exam will be an oral assignment where we will meet in my office on a day and time of our choosing, and I will ask you oral questions and you will demonstrate the answers on the board. The type and length of questions will be up to my discretion.
