Vagul Mahadevan is a fourth-year undergraduate student studying Math and Computer Science in the College of Arts and Sciences. His work in the CRAL lab lies at the intersection of control theory and game theory and their application to multi-agent social navigation.
He also is working on his Distinguished Major Program thesis centering on proving novel results in stochastic approximation with applications in reinforcement learning. Outside of research, Vagul plays trombone in the Charlottesville Symphony and is a resident advisor.
